What’s Your Story? – Writing and Performance
WHAT’S YOUR STORY? – WRITING & PERFORMANCE
with Angela Derecas Taylor
Course Semester: Winter
Wednesday 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
“What’s Your Story?” is an interactive 9-week writing course geared to helping you craft stories about true events in your life, with the intention of telling them to a live audience in a way that will captivate, inspire and entertain. Through a combination of theme-based writing prompts and practice sessions with instructor and participant feedback, you will leave this class with a single performance-ready story that will debut on the final night of class. Throughout the program the instructor will let the attendees know about upcoming storytelling and open Mic events where they can attend and listen or perhaps tell their stories. These events will be non-mandatory and at the student’s own expense (if any).
Fee: $279 / $251 members
Dates: 01/24/18 – 03/28/18
No Class: Feb. 21
Sessions: 9
